On Monday a trial date was set for a Cabool man accused of murder in 2018. 52 year old Kenneth Clark will go to trial on January 21st 2020 in Waynesville, where the trial was moved on a change of venue. Clark is charged with first degree murder, armed criminal action, and kidnapping in the death of 56 year old Susan Campbell. Clark shot Campbell then turned the gun on himself in a failed suicide attempt. He was taken to a St Louis Hospital where he recovered then was transferred to jail where he remains.
