A Mountain Home gunsmith is being sued by the Arkansas attorney General. 45 year old Jayson Cotter of Mountain Home owns Investment Grade Firearms. Attorney General Leslie Rutledge has filed a suit against him for violations of Arkansas Deceptive Trade Practices Act. She says that consumers across the country hired Cotter for gunsmith work but he on several occasions failed to return their parts or firearms and refused to provide refunds. Attorney General Rutledge is requesting restitution, civil penalties and injunctive relief and demands a jury trial.
