A woman from Bull Shoals is accused of stealing over $17,000 from a homeowners association. 63 year old Deborah Ann Brown was charged with felony theft of property.
According to the probable cause affidavit, the Marion County Sheriff’s Office received a complaint in early May regarding possible misused funds by Brown, who had served as the secretary-treasurer of the Mockingbird Hill Townhomes Homeowners Association.
A review of the financial records allegedly indicates from August 2013 through March, more than 50 transactions by either check or autodraft of approximately $17,433 were used to pay for unauthorized personal expenses by Brown.
