A Birch Tree woman was injured in an accident Sunday afternoon east of Mountain View. The Highway Patrol reports that 40 year old Vaheidia Harris suffered serious injuries when she drove off the road and hit a tree. Harris was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on highway T about 3 miles east of Mountain.
