
The West Plains Police Department is reporting a couple of arrest on burglary charges Monday in separate cases. Monday morning the Police Department responded to a burglary at the West Plains Country Club. A cart shed and the snack shed had been broken into. Members estimate the value of the items taken at about $4,500. Surveillance video was placed on social media and a suspect, 27 year old Logan Clarke was identified. Clarke was arrested and is being held pending formal charges.
Then Monday afternoon Police responded to a burglary in progress at a residence of Evans street. When officers arrived they saw 18 year old Andy Baker of Bull shoals running from the residence. Baker was arrested on charges of second degree burglary and resisting arrest. His bond was set at $2,500 Baker is also linked to two other burglaries, one a Muggs Bar Monday and the other at Get N Go On North Howell in West Plains.
