An 11 year old boy was injured in an accident Wednesday in Douglas County. The Highway Patrol reports that 11 year old Asa Parker of Thornfield suffered moderate injuries when a pickup attempted to make a left turn and hit the vehicle that Parker was riding in. Neither driver was injured in the accident, which happened around 6:40 last night on Rt O about three miles north of Goodhope. Parker was taken to Cox South In Springfield.
