Howell County 911 has released their monthly summary for August. They reported answering 2,406 calls, of those 1929 were made to emergency services. 1,112 were for Law Enforcement, 514 for medical and 263 for Fire Rescue and First Responders. 68 percent of the calls were made from cell phones.
