A man from Houston has been arrested after allegedly assaulting his girlfriend. 27 year old Reed Ford was arrested after he allegedly hit his girlfriend with a stick, punched and gouged the eyes and cut her throat. Authorities say pieces of the woman’s tongue were missing. The woman was taken to Texas county Memorial Hospital with serious injuries. Ford is being held in Texas County without bail.
