A man from Mountain Grove was injured in a one vehicle accident early this morning north of Dunn in Texas County. The Highway patrol reports that 79 year old Gene Shaffer suffered moderate injuries when he crossed the centerline, ran off the road, hitting an embankment and a ditch. Shaffer was taken to Texas County Memorial Hospital. The accident happened around 1:30 this morning on Rt MM about 3 miles north of Dunn.
