A man from Licking was arrested by the Highway Patrol Sunday evening. 20 year old David Coats was arrested for felony second degree assault, leaving the scene of a accident with physical injury, and operating a motor vehicle in a careless and imprudent manor. Coats was taken to Texas County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
