A Cotter Arkansas woman died in an Officer involved shooting in Mountain View Missouri. The Missouri State Highway Patrol reports that 38 year old Angela Louise Perkins was shot and killed late Sunday night. The Mountain View Police Department initiated a pursuit, the officer lost sight of the vehicle, then a short time later came up on the vehicle sitting in a ditch on Howell County road 3080 west of Mountain View. As the officer approached the vehicle on foot, it backed out of the ditch and sped toward the officer. The Mountain View Officer discharged his weapon fatally wounding the driver. the Investigation is ongoing.
