Monday morning, West Plains police arrested a man on numerous warrants after he barricaded himself in a home on Webster Street. James Dale Campbell had numerous active warrants. Police attempted to make contact with Campbell over a public address system and by public phone with negative results. A female in the residence later came out and consented for officer to check the residence. Campbell was located in a crawl space under the house. He was arrested on 12 warrants as well as being arrested for obedience to lawful orders of a police officer and interference with arrest. He was taken to the West Plains police department detention facility
