
This past weekend the Thayer Bobcat Community sadly lost a coach and teacher who was loved by many. 26 year old Bryan Tate passed away unexpectedly while on his way to Quincy Illinois, with his Dad, Mom and younger brother to watch a football game that his other Brother was playing in. Several area schools are honoring Bryan this Friday by wearing Bobcat Green to school that day, including, Mammoth Spring, Couch, Alton, Koshkonong, Mountain Grove, Doniphan, Mtn View Birch Tree Liberty, Houston & Strafford. Also on Friday Thayer plays at Cabool and they are doing a Miracle Minute before the game, passing around a basket for donations.
An account has been set up at Community First Banking Company in Thayer for donations to go to the Tate family. A GoFundMe is also available for Tate’s Family and Shirts are being sold to help raise money.
Bryan’s wife is a teacher at Alton School.
Visitation for Bryan Tate is from 5-8 P.M. at Carter Funeral Home In Thayer and Services will be Saturday at 11 A.M. at First Baptist Church In Thayer.
