Independence County Authorities are reporting the arrest of three people on drug charges. 29 year old Dustin Scott Clem, 35 year old Jamie Lynn Jennings and 36 year old Leslie Deanroy Shutt were all arrested after authorities went to an address on Schultz lane to investigate a complaint of illegal drugs being sold from a residence there. After a search of the premises officers found digital scales with meth residue, a glass smoking device, a large assortment of plastic baggies, a handheld radio that was scanning the sheriff’s department radio frequencies and a small electronic safe. The safe was opened and authorities found a large baggie of meth, three smaller bags of meth and large assortment of empty plastic baggies, two sets of digital scales and three vehicle titles. All three are charged with possession of meth with purpose to deliver, possession of drug paraphernalia to process , test, prepare, pack or repack a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia to use to ingest meth and maintaining a drug premises. Bond was set at $50,000 each.
