Authorities in Texas County have released the name of the man found shot Thursday morning along highway 17 and a Summersville man has been charged with murder. The Texas County Sherriff’s Department reports that 30 year old Crue Ridenour of Willow Springs was found just after 7 a.m Thursday morning on highway 17 near the highway W intersection. Ridenour allegedly gave first responders information before they took him to Texas County Memorial Hospital where he passed away. 22 year old Michael Nugent of Summersville was arrested and charged with first degree murder and two counts of unlawful use of a weapon.
