Texas County Authorities continue to investigate a shooting death near Midvale, north of Summersville. Sheriff Scott Lindsey says a man was found along the side of highway 17 near the intersection of highway W. No names have been released at this time, but authorities have questioned a person of interest. the shooting is being investigated as a homicide.
