A man from Ava suffered serious injuries in a two vehicle accident Wednesday afternoon south of Ava. The Highway Patrol reports that 38 year old Casey Lebarge was injured when his car hit the towed unit on a truck driven by 41 year old Chad Perkins of Jay Ok.. Perkins was not injured in the accident. Lebarge was flown to Cox South in Springfield. The accident happened around 3 pm about 6 miles south of Ava on highway 5.
