A hunter was killed in Marion County when he was attacked by a wounded deer. According to reports 66 year old Thomas Alexander shot a buck with a muzzleloader while hunting near Yellville. When he went to check on the deer to see if it was dead it got up and attacked him. Alexander was by himself but was able to call his family. He was taken to an area hospital where he passed away. Authorities say it is unclear at this time if he died from puncture wounds or other causes like possibly a heart attack.
