Governor Asa Hutchinson and the Arkansas Economic Development Commission have announced that several local counties and a city will receive Arkansas Community and Economic Development Grants and County fair Building grants. The City of Batesville will get $128,200 for their childcare center, Fulton County will receive $1 million for water extension and County Fair grants of $4,000 go to both Baxter and Izard County and Fulton County receives $3,657.55.
In Arkansas 78 communities and counties received a total of $8.8 million in funding.
