Over the last few weeks several area businesses in northern Arkansas have applied to the Alcohol Beverage Control Board to sell alcohol. According to reports those applying include, Dollar General in Pocahontas and Dollar General in Maynard. Aleene’s On the Square in Pocahontas, Spring River Tobacco Plus in Highland, M.A.C.’s Bistro in Hardy, Artisan Restaurant in Ash Flat, Flash Energy #20 in Ash Flat, and Flash Energy #114 in Evening Shade. Their applications were submitted between October 11 and October 25th.
