Two people were injured in a two vehicle accident in Ripley County. The Highway Patrol reports that 27 year old James Clayton of Doniphan and 26 year old Deborah Coates of Gatewood both suffered minor injuries when Clayton stopped for a cow in the roadway and was hit in the rear by a Van driven by 52 year old Daniel Price of Alton. The accident happened on U.S 160 about a half mile west of County Road 160 west 17.
