A Stone County man who fled from authorities was involved in a head-on crash in Izard County. Authorities attempted to stop Mason Patrick on a failure to appear warrant when fled from deputies into Izard County. Patrick was not found that day. The next day Stone County Deputies tried again to stop Patrick who again fled into Izard County. The chase was about 6 miles, that’s when Patrick attempted to pass a vehicle and hit a vehicle head-on. Two people in the vehicle that he hit were injured and taken to Stone County Medical Center where they were treated and released. Patrick faces felony charges of fleeing and aggravated assault.
