A man from Black Rock has been arrested after allegedly firing a shot at a residence in Hoxie. Lawrence County dispatch received a 911 call reporting the shooting. The caller gave a license plate number. Brandon Crowell was stopped with two handguns in the vehicle with one that had been recently discharged. He was taken to the Lawrence County jail. Authorities say there was a bullet hole in the hood of a vehicle at the residence caused by a .44 magnum pistol. A 5 year old child was inside the residence at the time of the shooting.
