A 16 year old Ava teen was injured in an accident west of Ava Saturday afternoon. The Highway patrol says the juvenile was injured when she drove off the road and hit a ditch then overturned the car she was driving. The teen was taken to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. The accident happened on highway 76 about 4 miles west of Ava.
