A long time businessman in Thayer has passed away. Ron Cornelius passed away last week at his home. Ron has been a part of the Thayer Community for many years, graduating from Thayer high school in 1962. He managied his family business, Thayer gas for years and worked many years as a real estate agent. Ron served as the Thayer Chamber President and was voted Thayer Citizen of the year in 2005. A celebration of Life will be held for Ron on Saturday December 14th from 10am until noon at Clary Funeral Home in Thayer. Ron was 75 years old.
