Authorities in Batesville are investigating the death of a 29 year old man. A female witness told authorities that the man was getting out of bed and accidentally shot himself. The shooting happened Tuesday afternoon on Case Street. The man’s body was sent to the Arkansas State Medical Examiner’s office for an autopsy. No names have been released.
