Kansas City Chiefs kicker Harrison Butker was named AFC Special Teams player of the month on Thursday.
Butker is 25 of 29 on field goals and 37 of 39 on point-after attempts this season, but in November he was clutch.
In the Chiefs’ 26-23 victory over the Vikings, Butker kicked for four goals and drilled a 54-yard field goal to tie the game. Then he hit the game-winner as the final seconds ticked off the clock.
Butker also kicked a 50-yard field goal in the victory over the Raiders, a 41-yard field again in the win over the Chargers and was four of five on field goals in the loss to the Titans. He also only missed one PAT during that stretch.
