A man from Locus Grove has been arrested after an accident that injured three Batesville Police Officers. 26 year old Tedd Gates was arrested after the accident which injured Sgt Brenda Bittle, Patrol Officer Jordan Akins and Patrol Officer Amber Branscum. The officers had stopped a vehicle on east Harrison Street, and by the time they had Gates in custody they were all in the east bound lane and were hit by another vehicle. Bittle and Branscum were both taken to White River medical Center and Akins was taken to a Little Rock Hospital. None of the injuries are believed to be life-threatening. Gates is a convicted felon and is being held without bond.
