One person was killed and two people injured in a two-vehicle accident Saturday morning north of Willow Springs. The Highway Patrol reports that 30-year old Heath Wadkins of Mountain View was killed and 26-year old Tanner Beasley of Summersville and 30-year old Jessica Messex of Willow Springs both suffered serious injuries when Beasley crossed the centerline into the path of the vehicle that Messex was driving. Both vehicles overturned in the road. Beasley and Messex were both taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on highway 137, 6 miles north of Willow Springs. Beasley has been charged with DWI death of another, second degree felony assault, careless and imprudent driving in an accident and no insurance.
