Two West Plains residents were injured in a two vehicle accident Tuesday evening south of West Plains. The Highway Patrol says that 44 year old Dawn Barrett and a juvenile both suffered minor injuries when a vehicle driven by 25 year old Devin hicks of West Plains failed to yield and hit the vehicle that Barrett was driving in the side. Barrrett and the juvenile were both taken to OMC in West Plains. Hicks was arrested for leaving the scene of an accident, tampering with evidence and failure to stop at a stop sign. He was taken to the Howell County jail and placed on a 24 hour hold.
