SPRINGFIELD – Missouri State head coach Dave Steckel announced Wednesday (Dec. 18) the receipt of National Letters of Intent from a host of new recruits for next season as part of the college football early signing period.
The Bears will welcome a substantial crop of high school seniors to the program in 2020, in addition to several other newcomers expected to be added to the recruiting list during the regular spring signing period, which begins February 5.
“We are very excited about this class,” said head coach Dave Steckel. “Many of our needs have been met to continue to have a balanced class. It’s the largest class we have signed during the early signing period. Our staff did a fantastic job and worked very hard to put this together. Now it’s time to finish our class off in February.”
Steckel noted that he and his staff will be able to provide more comprehensive analysis of the entire signing class, including specific player positions, when the class is complete.
The MSU coaching staff will host a recruiting night party in the Prime Overtime Club at JQH Arena on Wednesday, Feb. 5 to unveil their entire class for fans.
