Through a social media post by the West Plains police Department we hear that the West Plains Police Department received 7 new Dodge Durango’s yesterday. They will be outfitted and ready for the streets in a few weeks. These new vehicles were desperately needed as their fleet is aged. The Police Department wants to thank citizens of the community who they are proud to serve and protect, and they want to thank to the City Council for all the support they have given the Police Department this year. Last but not least they say thank you to Chief of Police Stephen Monticelli. Chief Monticelli works tirelessly all hours of the day and night to make our community safe and Police Department better for all.
