A Cherokee Village Woman Was Injured In An Accident Tuesday

A woman from Cherokee Village was injured in a three-vehicle accident Tuesday morning on interstate 57. The Missouri Highway Patrol says that 63 year old Lynne Parsley of Cherokee Village and 54 year old Aubry Payne of Memphis both suffered serious injuries, when Payne traveled off the road and overturned the big truck he was driving, then the Semi driven by Parsley hit Payne’s truck and traveled off the roadway. A third vehicle driven by 53 year old Johnny Peek Jr of Buford Ga was hit by Debris and ran off the road. Peek was not injured. Both Parsley and Payne were flown by Air-Evac to the Med In Memphis. The accident happened on interstate 57 southbound at 18 mile marker in Mississippi County.
