Two Baxter County men are being held on murder charges. 37 year old Jeffery Scott Shepard and James Edward Tyler Davis were both arrested and charged with First degree murder and First degree battery. The two were charged after authorities found the remains of 20 year old Tyler Wade Pickett who had been reported missing back in September. A female told authorities that she went to a property near Norfork with Davis and the victim where they met Shepard. The female said she had been given narcotics and passed out. She said she asked Davis when she woke up where the victim was and he allegedly told her “he’s dead don’t worry about him, they will never find him or the gun”. Shepard is being held in Baxter County Detention Center, Davis is being held in the Benton County detention Center
