A man from West Plains was injured in an accident Wednesday morning west of West Plains. The Highway Patrol reports that 80 year old Joe Burden suffered moderate injuries when he failed to yield and was hit by a vehicle driven by 35 year old Alexander Rusche of West Plains. Burden was taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened on highway 160 about a mile west of West Plains.
