Two West Plains residents were injured in a head-on collision north of Thayer Friday evening. The Highway patrol reports that 35 year old Nathen Bryant suffered moderate injuries and 46 year old Billy Ragan suffered serious injuries when Ragan attempted to pass a tractor trailer in a no passing zone and hit the vehicle that Bryant was driving. Both men were taken to Ozarks Medical Center. The accident happened around 5:30 Friday evening about 1 mile north of Thayer on Highway 63.
