
Two Thayer residents are being held in the Thayer Jail after turning themselves in over the weekend. 52 year old Jonathan Johnson turned himself in after furlough granted by the court. He was charged with felony delivery of a controlled substance except 35 grams or less of marijuana or synthetic cannabinoid. He was sentenced to 8 years in The Missouri Department of Corrections. He is being held awaiting transport to the MDOC. 41 year old Morris Jones turned himself in after furlough by the court. He is charged with two felony counts manufacture of a controlled substance except 35 grams of less marijuana/synthetic cannabinoid. He was sentenced to 10 years on each count, he is also charged with felony second degree burglary and was sentenced to 7 years on that charge. The sentences are to run concurrent. He is being held at the Thayer Jail awaiting transport to the MDOC
