Two Winona residents were injured in an accident in Butler County that also seriously injured a woman from Poplar Bluff. The Highway Patrol reports that 62 year old Kathy Bettis and 66 year old Roy Bettis both of Winona suffered minor injuries and 75 year old Janet Malpass of Poplar Bluff suffered serious injuries when Halpass failed to yield to the vehicle that 31 year old Deborah Bettis was driving. The accident happened on Highway 67 about 5 miles north of Ellington.
