A man from Cotter was arrested following a traffic stop for texting while driving. 31 year old Edward Everett Call III, was stopped when an officer noticed he had his cell phone while driving apparently reading or sending a text message. When stopped he allegedly was acting erratically. Call allegedly was found to have a bag of marijuana and a smoking device in his pocket and a capped syringe. Ibn addition a quantity of marijuana and meth were found. Call was placed on 6 years probation and orderd to undergo alcohol and drug screening and attend meetings to deal with addictions.
