Two people were injured in an accident west of Pomona Saturday night. The Highway Patrol says that a 16 year old boy from Pomona suffered serious injuries and 30 year old Mayela Barron of Willow Springs suffered moderate injuries when the juvenile attempted to turn left and turned into the path of the vehicle that Barron was driving. The 16 year old was flown to Mercy Hospital in Springfield. Barron was taken to Ozarks Medical Center in West Plains. The accident happened at the intersection of Rt P and Rt Z about 4 miles west of Pomona.
