Two people were arrested Monday night after authorities found a gun, ammo, drugs and drug paraphernalia in the vehicle they were in. 23 year old Kannon Raine Woodhatch of Oil Trough and 27 year old Mauel Antonio Valencia were both arrested after authorities found a 9mm pistol with 8 bullets, a set of digital scales, a metal smoking device with burnt residue inside, 38 empty plastic baggies, a handheld police scanner, nine grams of a green leafy substance believed to be synthetic marijuana and two needles used to inject drugs. Woodhatch was placed on a probable cause hold and Valencia is being held for probation and parole.
