The Reward for information in the theft of the bell stolen from the Old Main Schoolhouse in Salem has been increased to $1,000. After the Bell was reported stolen Roger Meyer of Thayer Plant Food offered a $500 reward and now a former Salem Graduate, Dale Reynolds of Nixa has sent a check for $500 to also offer as a reward. Anyone with any information about the Bell which is described as a brass bell with an inscription around the top and several marks from being rung over the years, is asked to call the Fulton County Sheriff’s office at 870-895-2601
