The Parkside House Auction was held Tuesday at the West Plains Civic Center and raised more than $8,000 for the city. A little over 50 people were in attendance to bid on the fixtures from the old house, including doors, lights, and an old fireplace mantel with a build in clock that brought $750. The City will be tearing down the old house in the park to build an all-inclusive park with splash pad.
