A man from Ash Flat has been arrested in Izard County following a stabbing Tuesday. 20 year old Jesse Daniel Hope is charged with first degree battery. Hope was arrested after authorities in Sharp County received a report that 5 male subjects were at the Ash Flat emergency room and that one had been stabbed and was in serious condition. The victim that was stabbed was transferred to White River Medical Center in Batesvile. The stabbing allegedly occurred on Zion Road in Izard County. Hope has an open case in Sharp County where he faces three felony counts of aggravated assault and one count of fleeing. Hope is being held on $20,000 bond.
