Mizzou Baseball junior RHP Ian Bedell was tabbed a 2020 Preseason Third-Team All-American by D1Baseball.com, announced Tuesday by the organization. The Davenport, Iowa, native was one of 54 players selected to D1Baseball’s First, Second and Third-Team All-American lists.
This marks Bedell’s second 2020 Preseason All-American recognition of the offseason, joining his Third-Team All-American honors earlier this month by Perfect Game/Rawlings.
Bedell was dominant a season ago across Southeastern Conference and Cape Cod League summer competition. The Tiger righty combined to go 7-1 with a 1.14 ERA and 72 strikeouts over 71.0 innings pitched in two of the nation’s premier collegiate leagues
