The Board of Directors, for Community First Banking Company, has announced that Konnie Haney, Vice President and Commercial Lender has been promoted to Branch President of their Thayer location.
Haney is a native of Mammoth Spring and has been with Community First Banking Company for 4 years. She has over 29 years of banking experience in Deposit Operations before becoming the Assistant Regional Manager for Great Southern, Konnie worked as a Teller, a Customer Service Representative and a Personal Banker.
Haney has completed several courses in the financial and banking fields through SMSU-WP. She also obtained her insurance license for both the State of Arkansas and Missouri allowing her to offer both annuities and life insurance. She is also a graduate of the Missouri Banker’s School of Lending.
Community First was formed in 1997 in West Plains. They are a full service bank that has grown to almost $200m in assets with 2 locations in West Plains, 1 in Mountain Grove and 1 in Thayer.
