West Plains Boys & Girls Club Gets $18,000 Grant

The Community Foundation of the Ozarks has announced that they awarded over $18,000 to the West Plains boys & Girls Club. The money is provided by the Louis L and Julia Dorothy Coover Grant and will allow the club the kids in the club to experience growing their own food and preparing it to eat. It’s called the positive sprouts project and is a collaboration between, the Boys & Girls Club, West Plains Community Garden, University of Missouri Extension, West Plains Green House, Health Haven Botanical Garden and the Howell County Health Department.
