A Gassville Arkansas man was arrested for stealing a motor vehicle. 37 year old David Albrecht was arrested and while he was being booked he became unruly. He was screaming, shouting obscenities and banging the cell door, refusing to follow commands from the jail staff. He allegedly became combative and physically attacked Corporal Raymond, hitting him in the chest knocking the wind out of him. Albrecht is charged with felony theft of property, felony battery on a corrections officer, misdemeanor theft of property and misdemeanor driving while license suspended. Albrecht is being held on $20,000 bond and will be in court February 27th.
