The Baxter County Sheriff’s Office is warning citizens of a couple of scams that have been reported. According to the Sheriff’s office someone has been going door to door in Mountain Home pretending to be a representative from the government or a contractor for a government agency and trying to get personal identifying information from residents, The sheriff’s office says if you have any doubt about someone going door to door soliciting information, tell them nothing , get their description and contact local law enforcement.
