An Independence County man is wanted after allegedly breaking into a home and injuring another man. 28 year old Derek Dwayne Tharp allegedly entered a home in Cushman and allegedly beat a man unconscious. The victim was taken to White River Medical Center in Batesville. Tharp was already wanted before the incident for active warrants for violating the sex offender registration requirements and failure to appear. Anyone who knows of Tharp’s whereabouts should call the Sheriff’s Department.
